Bear Ranch in Hokkaido

I was in Hokkaido and was delighted to see these wonderful bears.
They looked so adorable asking for cookies.

I never knew this...

Good looking dogs. 

They reminded me of my pet dog Royce, at home.

I love dogs and I can't resist cuddling puppies.

I will welcome them anytime to my home.

This adorable mini dachshund named Nicky,

was my 'guest dog' over the weekend.

Toy Poodle: A Dog’s Life..

A new member in the family, this is Tobby.

He is a little ‘Toy poodle’ that looks like a bear and is cute like a toy.

He is my brothers' dog.

About 3months old, this lovable rascal is about 3 to 4 times smaller in size

than the bigger Blue Merle, Royce.

Tobby was teasing Royce away, when he knew he was safe on my lap.

To be fair..
knowing that Royce is of good temperament.

I decided to introduce them.

Looking up, so adorably timid … as in the picture.

Approaching Royce slowly…
his gesture was..

‘Want to play?’

NO!

Royce just starred him in the eyes.

This persistent boy… just wants to play!

Playful as he is.

Little Tobby was still tempting Royce to play.

‘Come on…’ was his reaction.

"Hey! Hey!"

BUT when everything fails.

The next best move was to ’Knock!’ some sense into Royce head,

‘Let’s play!!!'

Finally, Royce winked and it was all right.

And yes!!! Played, they did.

Small as he is, it didn’t stop him from controlling and commanding the play…

But when the big boy shows...

‘ENOUGH!’

He knows when to lie low…

Snuggling to the big boy again…

Lovingly

'PALS FOREVER’

After playing wildly.

It was time for dinner.

Sharing, sharing, sharing for GOOD WILL.

Hmmm, who came by?

It's Mica, the darling Angora bunny that looks and behaves like the dogs.

He just had his trim otherwise, he is Tobby’s size.

After they had their fill.

Time to go home.

Again, he was reluctant to go.

His gesture here was.

’Had my fill, must we go!’.

YES!

‘BYEEEEEE’

Just had lunch at MacDonalds.

Seemed to be in a hurry to go off.

Literally... eat and run.

World Animal Day: Paws At The Beach

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA)

commemorated the World Animal Day (WAD)

at the beach with fun, gatherings and competitions such as

'Best Kept Pet' and 'Fastest Tail-wagging'.

As I love dogs dearly...
 There I went and totally enjoyed my afternoon mingling with
 'Man's Best Friend'

Watching them closely and trying to read their gestures.

Here are some shots that I have taken.

And the gestures that I interpret them to be .

He needs food...too slim...
