Why not.

I hope it's not too far fetch.
With the fast ageing world.

Convenience and safety are priorities.
So why not adopt this idea in our future homes.

Like in this car porch.

To get the similar effect..
I guess..

Walling up the car porch with glass and integrating it into the living room is possible.

But maybe... it's only worthwhile if it's a fancy marque like the one above.

There seemed to be very few Easter gifts and decorations this year.

Could this be due to the economic crisis that many have decided to give

Easter a miss?

After searching for quite sometime..

I was glad to have found another place that has these beautiful Easter gifts.

The cafe-cum-confectionery looked so dainty.

At 290 Orchard Road#01-20A Paragon Shopping Centre, Singapore.

These up-market rabbits were selling for S$139-00 each.

I truly appreciate this gift.

A beautiful Wedgwood egg that I adore and cherish.

that's made from natural hen egg.
Using a unique process..

It's gold plated in 24carat gold and handcrafted to perfection.

Meant for good luck and good fortune,
its been with me for over 10 years.

Looking as good and new
as the day I received it.

They will not tarnish.

I gave my kids,
this little bunny to encourage them in their studies.

Hamper-cum-centrepiece!
This basket
(handmade from paper clay)
was filled with goodies.

Coloured serviettes and cellophane papers were used to wrap the eggs.
Jelly beans and chocolates were added.

As this was for the garden.

Fresh orchids and ribbons were used to
enhance the whole basket.

At this 'delicious' looking Deli.

Do you know Easter is just next week.

I have always loved those Easter bunnies and the lovely decorated eggs.

The Easter bunny is a mythical character depicted as an anthropomorphic rabbit,

who brings baskets filled with decorated eggs to homes with children the night before Easter.

A 150 years old Garden : Singapore Botanical Gardens

Celebrates.

The grand entrance to the

Singapore Botanic Gardens.

The Gardens was first laid out in 1859.

The Tembusu tree that was probably there before the Gardens

as stated in the papers is truly a magnificent tree.

People loved to perched on the tree.

The scene was such when I was there.

Details of this Heritage Tree.

A hardy tree.

I could see through its main trunk.

Still stands beautifully tall.

But like with all old age.

Some help is needed.

This is the same tree that is on our S$5.00 bill.

Another unusual tree that has flowers growing on its main trunk.

Many of the branches were flourishing with flowers.

This branch with the flowers so rich and full.

The beautiful and tranquil

Swan Lake Gazebo.

Where many find it a pleasant place to unwind.

A scenic lake

Enhanced with this lovely bronze sculpture of swans.

There were of course the real swans,

that swam around to greet and accompany.

So close did they swam up to me.

Cycling is not allowed.

Walking your dog with a leash is a norm.

Everywhere I turned

I could see dogs of all shapes and sizes.

Dog owners please read this.

Certain types of dogs must be muzzled.

Poo bags are provided.

Please keep the Garden smelling and looking clean.

Look out for these sculptures.

They are so realistic.
