A concrete slab table

This is a smart way of replacing that broken glass top.

Using a concrete slab

and give it that tough rustic look.

So good for outdoors.

It should tolerate all weather conditions.

But should algae grows..

Simply wash it with bleach and it will be as new again.

I have always kept my patios and garden walk-ways free from algae using bleach.

CAUTION :

Bleach can be hazardous, so make sure your pets don't come in contact.

Rinse thoroughly and use with care.

Always test for colour run as bleach whitens.

A sore thumb

I got this shot, right in the middle of the business district Shenton Way.

In contrast to the fine looking buildings behind, this looks like a

'SORE' thumb (with the bandage).

The whole area looks chaotic at the moment.

Roads and bridges are being constructed and reconstructed.

I guess if it's for the better, we should willingly tolerate the inconvenience.

In a way this scene looks comedic to me.

Through this corridor, the visitor enters a circular observatory,

and will be surrounded by a vast snowy landscape in Singapore,

a country which enjoys a tropical climate all year round.
