Singapore Clarke Quay Dazzles

Clarke Quay, besides the Entertainment and Fun with the UFOs
The place, dazzles with lots of delicious eateries and restaurants.
Some are peculiar and bizarre.
Here are some of my pictures, to share.
"Enjoy a afternoon Fiesta with a Siesta under the Stars"
"Lotus Grill sets the standards for Asian broiler rooms with an eclectic menu that goes from Balinese to Singaporean delicacies naturally grilled and presented on Banana, Lotus or Pandan leaves making of every recipe a signature dish"
"Lotus Grill the only choice in Singapore for gourmets to enjoy
a 'floating dinner' on two authentic Chinese Tonkangs
harbored on theRiver's Bank at Clarke Quay"
Serves delicious seafood.
as they say,
'A Fun place where Dinning and Entertainment goes hand in hand'.
Steak House
A quick bite..
Alfresco with those barrels at the Mulligan's.. nice!
There are proper seats in the restaurant too.
A unique alfresco, easily identified by it's hospital settings.
This is NOT for the unwell..
Stalls for souvenirs and 'nick nags'..

As the evening gets darker,
I could see the crowd streaming in.
Lights were illuminating the place.
Diners were spoilt for choices..
Some were already enjoying their dinner,
while I couldn't decide what to eat.
Everything looked so good and inviting.
At the water fountain..
I saw kids and even adults, walking through the spurts of water
just to have fun.

The LIGHTS, F&Bs, NIGHTSPOTS, SHOWS and UFOs.
Not forgetting to find some ideas for the home.
This lovely lamp at a restaurant caught my eyes.
It will look interesting beautiful in any home.

Fun with 'UFOs'

A Spectacular Sight!
'UFOs'..
That's what they seemed to me from afar.

They truly look like 'dancing comets'
Check out 'The Night Flyers' at Clarke Quay.
Watch them somersault, fall from the sky and take off again
without touching the ground.
Get out there and have fun!

It's the 'revolutionary controlled kites'
as described by GoFlyKite

'Crash Resistant'

Pick them up and get them going again.

Entertaining Clarke Quay

Visiting Clarke Quay, time and again is always fun.

I was having my dinner at one of the restaurants,
and was watching the bumboats
cruising up and down the river.

They are river cruises and river taxies.
Some of the huge Chinese junks (tongkangs)
were refurbished into floating pubs and restaurants.
The junks reminded me of my previous post on
The Halong Bay in Vietnam
As night falls
Food and Restaurants
Packed with people.
Along the lovely river.
The brightly lit bridge.
Brightly lit in different colors.
Be amazed.
I was lucky.
A performance was planned.
It was an acrobatic act and was very entertaining.
These are some sections of the performance I took.
The whole performance lasted about half an hour.

Original sound track.
Look out for events at the Clarke Quay.
You'll never know what's next...
