These oversized horse-face shoes were part of the promotion for the
‘Singapore Racing Festival’ by Singapore Turf Club.
They were the 2.1m-tall fiberglass sculpted high-heeled shoes with horse faces.
The shoes were vibrant in colors and fanciful in style.
They were captivating.
These sculpted displays were made by American artist Marsha Schloesser.
With a contest involved, the shoes were placed at CapitalLand Malls for the
public to view and participate.
I finally caught up with some of them at ‘the eleventh hour’
at Raffles City Shopping Centre.
And was glad I didn’t miss these extraordinary exhibits.
Perched upon these stylish shoe boxes,
the gigantic exhibits will stop any passers-by.
